BRIEF OVERVIEW OF THE ROOF REPLACEMENT PROCESS
Step 1: Tear Off
Once the entire property is fully protected, the existing shingles are removed and disposed of properly. The area below will be scanned by a metal detector for any nails that did not get into the dump trailer.
Step 2: Bare Roof
This is our opportunity to inspect the wood decking for any soft or rotted spots. We will correct any carpentry issues, add ventilation if necessary, and prepare the home for a new roof
Step 3: Prep Work
Wood Sheeting needs to inspected to make sure that is attached to roof rafters properly and securely. Drip Edge is then installed to all edges of the roof to prevent rain from gaining entrance underneath the roof material.
Step 4: Shingling
Shingles are installed to the manufacturer’s instruction and to Empire Home Solutions' high standard. We work from the bottom up, followed by step and/ or counter flashing, ridge vents, and ridge capping installation as needed.
Step 5: Project Completion
On a daily basis we thoroughly clean up the job site, sweeping the sidewalks and driveways. A conscientious post-job inspection will be completed by a member of the Empire Home Solutions team.
